Could you leave this guy at home? We sure couldn't! Luckily, we didn't have to! And the good
news is, you don't have to leave your best friend behind either! Welcome to
New England Dog Travel - your source for great places to go and cool things to do
with your canine buddy all over New England.
Whether you live in New England or are just planning to visit, we have the
information you need to plan everything from a short adventure to an extended
dog-friendly trip -beaches, events, places to stay,
campgrounds, destinations,and more!
The six New England states - Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
Rhode Island, and Vermont - are becoming more dog-friendly all the time. Our furry children
are welcome at more inns, hotels, beaches - and even restaurants - than ever before.
We're here to tell you where to go, what to do, where to stay, and when and
how to do it. And we need your help! As we grow, we want to hear from you -

And that's just a beginning! Contact us and
let us know how we can make New England Dog Travel better for you and your dog.
Our focus is on dogs because they are the most portable of our beloved pets. However, if you
have interesting suggestions for other pet-related activities or events, please share. You'll find a few
horses and cats in here too!
And a word about pronouns - we can't stand the thought (however grammatically correct) of referring
to our furry friends as the gender neutral "it" so we're going with "he". Why you ask? Probably just
because our dog was male. But don't be offended female dog owners. We love the ladies too so just
think of it as a universal catch-all.
And speaking of our "he", you'll notice a photo or two of the orange dog. As photogenic
as he was, we'd love to share photos of your dogs hanging out and having in New England so please share!
